One of our partners, Symantec , just posted a fantastic case study documenting the work we consulting and implementing the Symantec tools at the Indiana Office of Technology .
It's a great case study that I would encourage you to read in it's entirety. But there is one quote in the study I just have to share here. In the study the now CIO of Indiana, Gerry Weaver, was quoted:

Moongate Technologies' Scott Ganyo was recently quoted in an article on the utilization of JBI within SOA:
Developers interested in JBI will need to reserve some time to learn. This type of exposure is mostly reviewing code snippets from existing open source JBI applications, like ServiceMix, and supplementing that learn-as-you-explore strategy with the 228 page JBI specification document publicly available from the Java Community Process organization. SOA integration experts, like Scott Ganyo with Moongate Technologies, agree that it can take a long time to learn the rules of the JBI spec nomenclature and nuances to code within the standard.
